Staff clock in at the start of a shift and clock out when they finish, and admins can view reports across the whole team.\u003C/p>\n\u003Ch2>Overview\u003C/h2>\n\u003Cp>You can access Clock In / Clock Out from the \u003Cstrong>sidebar\u003C/strong> or the \u003Cstrong>Home dashboard\u003C/strong>. The page shows:\u003C/p>\n\u003Cul>\n\u003Cli>A \u003Cstrong>status indicator\u003C/strong> showing whether you’re currently clocked in (green pulsing dot) or clocked out (red).\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>A \u003Cstrong>live clock\u003C/strong> displaying the current time.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>A large \u003Cstrong>Clock In\u003C/strong> button (green) or \u003Cstrong>Clock Out\u003C/strong> button (red), depending on your current status.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>Your \u003Cstrong>clock event history\u003C/strong> below, grouped by date.\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ul>\n\u003Cp>If you’re currently clocked in, a \u003Cstrong>Clock Out\u003C/strong> button also appears on your Home dashboard for quick access.\u003C/p>\n\u003Ch2>Clocking In\u003C/h2>\n\u003Cp>To start your shift:\u003C/p>\n\u003Col>\n\u003Cli>Click the \u003Cstrong>‘Clock In’\u003C/strong> button (green).\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>A confirmation message will appear: \u003Cstrong>“You are now clocked in”\u003C/strong>.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>Your status updates to show you’re clocked in, and the button switches to Clock Out.\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ol>\n\u003Cp>If you’re already clocked in and try to clock in again, you’ll see an error message.\u003C/p>\n\u003Ch2>Clocking Out\u003C/h2>\n\u003Cp>To end your shift:\u003C/p>\n\u003Col>\n\u003Cli>Click the \u003Cstrong>‘Clock Out’\u003C/strong> button (red).\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>A confirmation message will appear: \u003Cstrong>“You are now clocked out”\u003C/strong>.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>Your status updates, and the button switches back to Clock In.\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ol>\n\u003Cp>If you’re already clocked out and try to clock out again, you’ll see an error message.\u003C/p>\n\u003Ch2>Viewing Your Clock Events\u003C/h2>\n\u003Cp>Below the clock buttons, your events are listed and \u003Cstrong>grouped by date\u003C/strong>. Each entry shows:\u003C/p>\n\u003Cul>\n\u003Cli>Whether it was a \u003Cstrong>Clock In\u003C/strong> or \u003Cstrong>Clock Out\u003C/strong> event.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>The \u003Cstrong>time\u003C/strong> the event was recorded.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>The \u003Cstrong>duration\u003C/strong> between a matching clock in and clock out (e.g., “8h 30m”).\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ul>\n\u003Cp>This makes it easy to see how long each shift lasted.\u003C/p>\n\u003Ch2>Managing Clock Events (Admin)\u003C/h2>\n\u003Cp>Admins have additional tools for managing the team’s clock records.\u003C/p>\n\u003Ch3>Viewing Other Users’ Events\u003C/h3>\n\u003Cp>Use the \u003Cstrong>user dropdown\u003C/strong> at the top of the page to switch between team members and view their clock history.\u003C/p>\n\u003Ch3>Creating a Manual Clock Event\u003C/h3>\n\u003Cp>If a team member forgot to clock in or out, admins can add a record manually:\u003C/p>\n\u003Col>\n\u003Cli>Click the \u003Cstrong>‘+ New Event’\u003C/strong> button.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>In the modal, select the \u003Cstrong>user\u003C/strong>, set the \u003Cstrong>date and time\u003C/strong>, choose \u003Cstrong>Clock In\u003C/strong> or \u003Cstrong>Clock Out\u003C/strong>, and select the \u003Cstrong>location\u003C/strong>.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>Click \u003Cstrong>‘Clock User’\u003C/strong> to create the entry.\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ol>\n\u003Ch3>Editing a Clock Event\u003C/h3>\n\u003Cp>To correct a timestamp on an existing event:\u003C/p>\n\u003Col>\n\u003Cli>Find the event in the history and click the \u003Cstrong>edit button\u003C/strong> (pencil icon).\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>Update the time.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>Save your changes.\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ol>\n\u003Ch3>Deleting Clock Events\u003C/h3>\n\u003Cp>To remove incorrect records:\u003C/p>\n\u003Col>\n\u003Cli>Find the date group containing the event.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>Click the \u003Cstrong>delete button\u003C/strong> (trash icon) to select events for deletion.\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ol>\n\u003Ch2>Clock Reports (Admin)\u003C/h2>\n\u003Cp>Admins can view clock reports under the \u003Cstrong>Reports\u003C/strong> section. The report shows:\u003C/p>\n\u003Cul>\n\u003Cli>A summary card for each team member with their \u003Cstrong>name\u003C/strong>, \u003Cstrong>current status\u003C/strong> (clocked in/out), \u003Cstrong>total events\u003C/strong>, and \u003Cstrong>total hours worked\u003C/strong>.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>Click a user card to drill down into their full event history with a detailed table.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>Use the \u003Cstrong>Export CSV\u003C/strong> button to download clock data for payroll or record-keeping.\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ul>\n\u003Ch2>Auditor Access\u003C/h2>\n\u003Cp>The Clock In / Clock Out feature is not accessible to users with the \u003Cstrong>Auditor\u003C/strong> role.\u003C/p>\n\u003Chr>\n\u003Cp>Encourage your team to clock in and out consistently for accurate time records.
