The page shows:\u003C/p>\n\u003Cul>\n\u003Cli>A \u003Cstrong>location count\u003C/strong> at the top, showing how many locations you have and your subscription limit (e.g., “3 / 5 locations”). If you’ve reached your limit, a \u003Cstrong>“Max Reached”\u003C/strong> badge appears and the create button is hidden.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>A \u003Cstrong>search bar\u003C/strong> to filter locations by name, address, city, or postcode.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>A \u003Cstrong>Show/Hide Inactive\u003C/strong> toggle to reveal any deactivated locations.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>A \u003Cstrong>table of active locations\u003C/strong> showing each location’s Name, Address, Postcode, and City, with an edit button for each.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>An \u003Cstrong>interactive map\u003C/strong> below the table showing all your locations with markers (if addresses have been validated).\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ul>\n\u003Ch2>Adding a Location\u003C/h2>\n\u003Cp>To create a new location:\u003C/p>\n\u003Col>\n\u003Cli>Click the \u003Cstrong>‘New Location’\u003C/strong> button at the top of the page.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>Fill in the required details:\n\u003Cul>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Location Name\u003C/strong> — the name of the site (e.g., “High Street Kitchen”, “Factory Unit 2”).\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Address\u003C/strong> — the street address.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Postcode\u003C/strong> — the postal code.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>City\u003C/strong> — the city or town.\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ul>\n\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>Click \u003Cstrong>‘Validate Address’\u003C/strong>. This checks the address using Google Maps and fills in the coordinates. You must validate the address before you can save.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>EC Number\u003C/strong> (optional) — if the location has an EC approval number, toggle \u003Cstrong>‘Location has an EC number’\u003C/strong> and enter the:\n\u003Cul>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Country Code\u003C/strong> (e.g., GB)\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Approval Number\u003C/strong>\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>EC Letters\u003C/strong> (e.g., EC)\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ul>\n\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>Click \u003Cstrong>‘Add location’\u003C/strong> to save.\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ol>\n\u003Cp>The new location will appear in your locations table and on the map.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>Note:\u003C/strong> If you’ve reached your subscription’s location limit, the create button will be hidden. Contact support to upgrade your plan.\u003C/p>\n\u003Ch2>Editing a Location\u003C/h2>\n\u003Cp>To update a location’s details:\u003C/p>\n\u003Col>\n\u003Cli>Find the location in the table and click the \u003Cstrong>edit button\u003C/strong> (pencil icon).\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>A form will open with the location’s current settings. You can update:\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ol>\n\u003Ch3>Basic Information\u003C/h3>\n\u003Cul>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Location Name\u003C/strong>\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Address\u003C/strong> — click \u003Cstrong>‘Validate Address’\u003C/strong> again if you change it, to update the coordinates.\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ul>\n\u003Ch3>EC Number\u003C/h3>\n\u003Cul>\n\u003Cli>Toggle \u003Cstrong>‘Location has an EC number’\u003C/strong> on or off.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>When enabled, enter or update the Plant ID.\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ul>\n\u003Ch3>Temperature Unit\u003C/h3>\n\u003Cul>\n\u003Cli>Toggle \u003Cstrong>‘Location uses Fahrenheit for temperature’\u003C/strong> to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit. This affects how temperatures are displayed throughout the app for this location.\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ul>\n\u003Ch3>Food Record Requirements\u003C/h3>\n\u003Cp>If your account includes the Food Records feature, you’ll also see:\u003C/p>\n\u003Cul>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Food record count requirements\u003C/strong> — toggle this on to set how many food records are expected per day for each action type (Cook, Cool, Reheat, Hothold, Cold Serve). For example, you might require 2 Cook records and 1 Cool record daily. These targets show as progress counts on the Food Temperature Records page.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Food record temperature targets\u003C/strong> — set the minimum required temperature for \u003Cstrong>Cooking\u003C/strong> and \u003Cstrong>Hot-holding\u003C/strong>. When staff log a food record, they’ll see a warning if the temperature doesn’t meet these targets.\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ul>\n\u003Col start=\"3\">\n\u003Cli>Click \u003Cstrong>‘Save’\u003C/strong> to apply your changes.\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ol>\n\u003Ch2>Deactivating a Location\u003C/h2>\n\u003Cp>Locations are not permanently deleted — they are deactivated. This preserves all historical data and records associated with the location.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cul>\n\u003Cli>Deactivated locations are hidden from the main table by default.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>To view them, click the \u003Cstrong>‘Show Inactive’\u003C/strong> toggle. They’ll appear marked as \u003Cstrong>“Deactivated”\u003C/strong>.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>You can reactivate a location by editing it and removing the deactivation.\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ul>\n\u003Ch2>Switching Between Locations\u003C/h2>\n\u003Cp>If your business has multiple locations, you’ll see a \u003Cstrong>location switcher\u003C/strong> in the side navigation. Use this to quickly switch between locations — the app will update to show data for the selected location.\u003C/p>\n\u003Ch2>Auditor Access\u003C/h2>\n\u003Cp>If your account has the \u003Cstrong>Auditor\u003C/strong> role, you can view the locations list but cannot create new locations or edit existing ones.\u003C/p>\n\u003Chr>\n\u003Cp>Keep your locations up to date as your business grows.
