The page shows:\u003C/p>\n\u003Cul>\n\u003Cli>A \u003Cstrong>‘New Supplier’\u003C/strong> button at the top.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>A \u003Cstrong>search bar\u003C/strong> to filter suppliers by name or goods supplied.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>A \u003Cstrong>Show/Hide Archived\u003C/strong> toggle to reveal archived suppliers.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>Your suppliers displayed in two formats:\n\u003Cul>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Card view\u003C/strong> — a grid of cards showing each supplier’s details at a glance.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Table view\u003C/strong> — a compact table below the cards showing Name, Plant ID, Location, and Website.\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ul>\n\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ul>\n\u003Ch2>Adding a Supplier\u003C/h2>\n\u003Cp>To add a new supplier:\u003C/p>\n\u003Col>\n\u003Cli>Click the \u003Cstrong>‘New Supplier’\u003C/strong> button.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>A form will open with three sections:\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ol>\n\u003Ch3>Supplier Details\u003C/h3>\n\u003Cul>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Name\u003C/strong> (required) — the supplier’s business name.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Location / Country\u003C/strong> (required) — select the supplier’s country from the dropdown.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Address\u003C/strong> — the supplier’s street address.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Website\u003C/strong> — the supplier’s website URL.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>EC Number\u003C/strong> (optional) — toggle \u003Cstrong>‘Supplier has an EC number’\u003C/strong> to enter their:\n\u003Cul>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Country Code\u003C/strong> (e.g., GB)\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Approval Number\u003C/strong>\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>EC Letters\u003C/strong> (e.g., EC)\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ul>\n\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ul>\n\u003Ch3>Contact Details\u003C/h3>\n\u003Cul>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Contact Name\u003C/strong> — the name of your main contact at the supplier.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Contact Telephone\u003C/strong> — their phone number.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Contact Email\u003C/strong> — their email address (also used if you grant them supplier access to Forkto).\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ul>\n\u003Ch3>Supplier Info\u003C/h3>\n\u003Cul>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Goods Supplied\u003C/strong> — what the supplier provides (e.g., “Fresh vegetables, dairy products”).\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Lead Time\u003C/strong> — how long orders typically take.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Delivery Days\u003C/strong> — tick which days the supplier delivers (Monday through Sunday).\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Notes\u003C/strong> — any additional information about the supplier.\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ul>\n\u003Col start=\"3\">\n\u003Cli>Click \u003Cstrong>‘Save’\u003C/strong> to add the supplier. They’ll appear in your supplier list straight away.\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ol>\n\u003Ch2>Viewing Supplier Details\u003C/h2>\n\u003Cp>Each supplier card shows all populated fields at a glance, including their name, address, contact details, goods supplied, delivery days, and any notes. Cards with an EC number will also display the Plant ID.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>Click on a supplier card or table row to open their full details.\u003C/p>\n\u003Ch2>Editing a Supplier\u003C/h2>\n\u003Cp>To update a supplier’s information:\u003C/p>\n\u003Col>\n\u003Cli>On the supplier card, click the \u003Cstrong>three-dot menu\u003C/strong>.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>Select \u003Cstrong>‘Edit’\u003C/strong>.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>Update any of the fields across the three sections (Supplier Details, Contact Details, Supplier Info).\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>Click \u003Cstrong>‘Save’\u003C/strong> to apply your changes.\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ol>\n\u003Ch2>Contacting a Supplier\u003C/h2>\n\u003Cp>If a supplier has a contact email on file, you can quickly send them an email:\u003C/p>\n\u003Col>\n\u003Cli>On the supplier card, click the \u003Cstrong>three-dot menu\u003C/strong>.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>Select \u003Cstrong>‘Send Email’\u003C/strong> — this opens your email client with the supplier’s address pre-filled.\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ol>\n\u003Ch2>Archiving a Supplier\u003C/h2>\n\u003Cp>If you no longer work with a supplier but want to keep their records:\u003C/p>\n\u003Col>\n\u003Cli>On the supplier card, click the \u003Cstrong>three-dot menu\u003C/strong>.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>Select \u003Cstrong>‘Archive’\u003C/strong>.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>Confirm when prompted.\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ol>\n\u003Cp>The supplier will be hidden from the main view. To see archived suppliers:\u003C/p>\n\u003Cul>\n\u003Cli>Toggle \u003Cstrong>‘Show Archived’\u003C/strong> in the filter options at the top of the page.\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ul>\n\u003Ch2>How Suppliers Link to Other Features\u003C/h2>\n\u003Cp>Supplier records are used across Forkto for traceability:\u003C/p>\n\u003Cul>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Intakes\u003C/strong> — when logging ingredient, meat, or packaging intakes, you select the supplier from a dropdown. This links the delivery to the supplier’s record for audit and traceability purposes.\u003C/li>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Supplier Access\u003C/strong> — you can grant suppliers limited login access to Forkto.
